Product warranty and your rights
EcoShield supplies made-to-measure secondary glazing. We will provide the manufacturer’s written guarantee terms that apply to the specific system and components supplied with your order. The warranty period must be confirmed in your order documents; we do not currently advertise a single universal warranty term.
What may be covered
Depending on the manufacturer’s written terms, coverage may differ for frames, glass units, handles, catches, hinges, balances and other moving parts. A manufacturer’s guarantee may require correct installation, appropriate use and maintenance. Coverage and exclusions are subject to the terms supplied for the product.
What is not automatically included
Incorrect customer measurements, unsuitable or incorrect installation, accidental damage, misuse, alterations and normal wear may fall outside a manufacturer’s voluntary guarantee. Whether an issue is covered depends on the facts and applicable written terms. These conditions cannot override statutory consumer rights.
Care and maintenance
Clean frames and glass with suitable non-abrasive products. Keep tracks and moving parts free from debris and operate panels gently. Follow the specific manufacturer’s instructions supplied with your order. Contact us before using strong chemicals or adjusting balances or hardware.
How to report a problem
Email sales@ecoshieldsecondaryglazing.co.uk with your order number, product details, photographs and a description of the issue. We will review the problem and explain the next steps.
Statutory rights
Manufacturer guarantees are additional to your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and other applicable consumer law. If goods are faulty, not as described or not of satisfactory quality, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, price reduction or refund depending on the circumstances.
